Four of the Bridge volunteers attended the 10th Annual Friends of Friends event Saturday evening at Thumper Pond. Friends of Friends, in that 10 year period, has raised over $600,000 to fight hunger! The Bridge Community Pantry appreciates all they do for us and for others!
Denny and Myron are two of our wonderful drivers that are responsible for transporting our mobile around the area. This past Tuesday and Wednesday we set a record on the number of guests we served! Please continue to share the news about our mobile with family and friends. Thank you!
Donations, whether they are food items or monetary gifts, arrive on a daily basis. Sometimes our volunteers pick them up, other times they are delivered to our door. We want to thank each and every one of you for your continued support of the Bridge Community Pantry! We couldn't do it without you!
Thank you, thank you, thank you to the Vergas crew who held a spaghetti feed this past Saturday raising $1020 for the Bridge Pantry/Mobile! The donation box was a work of art so I wanted to post a picture of that, too! We sure appreciate your support!

The Perham Food shelf will participate in the Farm to Food Shelf program again this year. The program is funded by the State of Minnesota which compensates producers who provide excess produce to the program. The program runs from July through September and generally provides produce such as sweet corn, potatoes, onions, carrots, squash, peppers etc. etc. The Perham Food Shelf provided over 110,000 lbs of fresh produce to clients and the general public in 2016.
The funding for this program has now ended. We hope that new funding will be provided in 2017. Check our perhamfoodshelf Facebook page for updates.
Why does your dollar go further?
Money goes much further. We can stretch your dollar through our partnerships with the food industry. We obtain truckloads of produce just for the cost of freight and handling. We can buy truckloads of food at secondary market prices. We conduct food drives. In fact, your dollar makes 8 times the impact when donated to the food shelf.
